Description
Blueberry ‘Blue Suede’ is a good variety to pick for colder gardens as it’s later to flower and so avoids late frosts. Ready to harvest from mid to late August, the large, tasty fruits mature over a long period allowing several pickings. Blueberries are packed with health-boosting compounds and are especially delicious in pies, muffins and jams. These sturdy shrubs make attractive features for the patio or acidic borders, bearing masses of sweetly scented creamy white flowers in spring, and fiery crimson autumn foliage. Self-fertile, like all Blueberries it will produce its best crops if grown with another Blueberry to increase pollination. Height and spread: 120cm-150cm (4 to 5ft). Estimated time to best yields: 28-32 months (16-20 months for 3l potted plant).
